Overview

Custom CNC parts means: you send a drawing, we machine the part to your geometry in your material, to your tolerance, with your finish. No catalog, no standard parts, no picking from a list. Every part is made to your specification.

At Shenghao, we run 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and turning in metals and plastics. A real engineer reviews your drawing for manufacturability before pricing, flags anything that will not machine well, and stays on the order through production and inspection. There is no automated quoting tool and no shared sales inbox. You talk to the person who runs your part.

What we make

Types of custom parts we machine

If you can draw it, we can probably machine it.

Prismatic parts

Housings, brackets, mounting plates, heat sinks, structural frames. Block or plate-based geometry with milled faces, pockets, holes, and slots. The bread and butter of 3-axis milling.

Complex geometry

Impellers, turbine blades, organic shapes, multi-axis contours. These need 4 or 5-axis simultaneous machining to reach undercuts and compound angles in a single setup. We run them on DMG Mori and Mazak 5-axis centers.

Rotational parts

Shafts, bushings, rings, threaded fittings, spacers. Turned on CNC lathes with live tooling for cross holes, flats, and keyways without a second operation.

Thin-wall and tight-tolerance

Enclosures with thin walls, parts with tight flatness or position tolerances, features that need grinding or hard milling. We hold plus or minus 0.003mm on critical features when the drawing calls for it.

Materials

Materials we machine

We machine the full range of metals and engineering plastics. If you are not sure which material fits your application, send the drawing and we will recommend one based on your strength, weight, temperature, corrosion, and cost requirements.

Metals

  • Aluminum: 6061, 6063, 7075, 2024, 5052, 5083
  • Steel: 1018, 1045, 4140, A36, tool steels
  • Stainless steel: 303, 304, 316, 17-4 PH, 420
  • Titanium: Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V)
  • Brass and copper

Plastics

  • PEEK, PTFE (Teflon), Delrin (POM), Ultem (PEI)

How it works

From drawing to shipped part

  • 1. Send your file. STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, DXF, or DWG with material, quantity, and deadline
  • 2. Engineer review. Manufacturability check, DFM feedback, and any issues flagged before pricing
  • 3. Quote. Based on the part as drawn, with suggested changes noted separately. Typically within 24 hours on business days
  • 4. Production. Machining on 3, 4, or 5-axis equipment. First article inspected against your print
  • 5. Finishing. Anodizing, plating, or other surface treatment applied
  • 6. Inspection and shipping. Final dimensional check, reports and certificates as needed, then shipped

Start with a single sample if you want to verify fit, finish, and how we handle your file before committing to a batch. Same DFM, same team as a production quote.

Need an NDA first? Ask before you send the file and we will get it signed. We work with clients who own proprietary designs and treat confidentiality as standard.

Have a question about a specific feature, tolerance, or material? Send the drawing and the engineer reviewing it will answer directly.

Why Shenghao

What is different about working with us

You talk to an engineer, not a sales rep

The person who reviews your drawing and quotes your part is the same person who follows it through production. If there is a manufacturability issue, they flag it before pricing. If there is a better material or process for what you need, they say so.

One team manages every process

CNC milling and turning, Swiss machining and precision grinding are our core in-house strengths. Sheet metal, die casting, injection molding, 3D printing, EDM and finishing are coordinated through vetted partners we manage directly. If your part needs more than one process, you deal with one team instead of managing handoffs between shops.

No MOQ, no minimum complexity

Start with one part. Whether it is a simple bracket or a 5-axis impeller in titanium, the same DFM and inspection process applies. We do not turn away small orders or complex parts.

Inspection built into every order

First article and final inspection on every order, against your print. Dimensional reports, material certificates, traceability and certificate documentation available on request.

FAQ

Custom CNC parts questions

What file formats do you accept for custom CNC parts?

We accept STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, X_T, DXF, and DWG. STEP is the most common and the easiest to quote from. If you only have a 2D drawing with dimensions and tolerances, send that and we will quote from it. A 3D model speeds up the process but is not required.

Can you make custom CNC parts in any material?

Yes. We machine aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, brass, copper, and engineering plastics including PEEK, Delrin, and Ultem. If you are unsure which material fits your application, send the drawing and we will recommend one based on your strength, weight, temperature, and corrosion requirements.

What is the minimum order for custom CNC parts?

No MOQ. You can start with one part. The same engineer-reviewed DFM and manufacturability check applies to a single part as to a thousand. Many customers start with a sample to verify fit and finish before committing to a batch.

How much do custom CNC parts cost?

Cost depends on material, geometry complexity, quantity, and finish. We quote against your drawing with material, quantity, and deadline specified. There is no automated pricing tool. A real engineer reviews the part and comes back with a quote, typically within 24 hours on business days.

How long does it take to get custom CNC parts?

10 to 25 days depending on complexity, material, quantity, and finish. Simpler parts in aluminum can ship in 10 days. Complex parts in titanium with multiple finishes take longer. Exact lead time is confirmed with your quote.

Do you sign NDAs for custom part projects?

Yes. Ask before you send the file and we will get an NDA signed. We work with clients who own proprietary designs and treat confidentiality as standard. Your file is only seen by the engineer reviewing it and the operator running the part.
