Medium Texture (MT11020 Equivalent)

More pronounced graining than light texture, same use case, more visible surface interest.

What is Medium Texture (MT11020 Equivalent)?

A more pronounced surface grain than Light Texture, for the same general use case but with more visible surface interest.

How it works

A deeper texture pattern is etched into the silicone mold cavity, matched to the standard MT11020 mold-texture equivalent, before casting, transferring a coarser grain onto the part than the Light Texture option.

Benefits

  • More visually distinct texture than Light Texture while still reading as a cosmetic finish rather than a functional grip surface
  • Hides tool marks and surface imperfections more effectively than a light texture

Applications

Consumer and industrial housings wanting a more noticeably textured cosmetic surface.
