A mechanical finishing process that smooths a part's surface to a bright, reflective finish.
A mechanical finishing process that removes surface imperfections and progressively smooths a part's surface to a bright, reflective finish.
The part surface is worked with progressively finer abrasive compounds or polishing wheels, removing microscopic surface roughness in stages until the surface reflects light evenly rather than scattering it.
Used where surface roughness or appearance genuinely matters — visible consumer-facing parts, or mating surfaces where a smooth finish improves function.
Aluminum, steel, stainless, brass. Full applicable-materials list, color range, and which finishes can combine are confirmed per order — see the Materials & Finishes page →
