What is Ultrasonic Welding?

Fuses two plastic components together using high-frequency vibration, creating a strong, permanent bond without adhesives or fasteners.

How it works

A welding horn vibrates at ultrasonic frequency against the joint between two parts, generating localized frictional heat that melts the plastic at the interface. The parts are held together under pressure as the melted plastic cools and fuses into a single joint.
