A chemical (not electrical) plating process that deposits a uniform nickel-phosphorus layer onto a part regardless of its shape or geometry.
Unlike standard electroplating, no electric current is used — instead, a chemical reduction reaction deposits nickel evenly across the entire part surface, including into recesses, holes, and complex internal geometry that electroplating current can struggle to reach evenly.
Preferred over standard nickel plating specifically for parts with complex internal features or geometry where even coating coverage matters.
